A scented coffee souvenir – Christmas star with a St. Andrew's Vespers picture. Christmas tree ornament from the series “From Roman to Jordan” – a “St. Andrew's Day” (Kalyta).

Handmade from natural fabric, stuffed with polyester wadding, soaked in aromatic coffee mixture and painted by Ternopil craftsmen.

St. Andrew's Day, or Kalyta, is celebrated on December 13. Kalyta is a large cake made of white flour that all the girls bake together at St. Andrew's parties (vespers). On this evening, boys frolic and have to take a bite of the cake, and girls usually tell fortunes. Take a look into the treasury of Ukrainian traditions, it's very interesting!
