Skoropadska women's maxi dress made of white linen
The Skoropadska women's maxi dress is a replica of the reconstructed shirt of Yelyzaveta Skoropadska, which is on display at the Hetmanate Museum. Yelyzaveta was the daughter of Hetman Pavlo Skoropadskyi, a sculptor, political figure, and leader of the Hetman Movement and the Union of Hetmanists-Statists until her death in 1976.
The shirt is the result of a collaboration between Ukrainian manufacturer Etnodim and Marie Claire magazine. It is not just a reproduction of antique clothing, but an entire research project that included studying historical sources, a portrait of Yelyzaveta that was previously considered lost, as well as ethnographic expertise on the characteristics of Poltava embroidery and the collection of the Ivan Honchar Museum.
The dress is based on the cut of an authentic dodilna shirt, sewn from a single piece of fabric. Natural white linen, soft and pleasant to the touch, was used as the base. It has a central slit with tassel ties and a loose, straight oversized silhouette. A classic round collar with fabric gathering adds delicacy to the silhouette.
The lush, one-piece sleeves have sewn-in gussets. The collar and thin cuffs feature subtle machine embroidery in white on white, while the sleeves and hem feature a geometric pattern created by imitating blind cutting with white thread trim.
This delicate shirt is suitable as a base for a traditional look with a skirt and vest, or as a complete outfit on its own.

It is important to us that our clothing brings satisfaction to its owner. Therefore, if the clothing you received does not fit for one reason or another, you have the opportunity to return it or exchange it for another size within 14 days from the date of receipt. In this case, the clothing must be in a resalable condition, including tags and labels.
Return shipping costs are borne by the buyer. Refunds for the product are made from the moment we receive the clothing and verify its proper condition.
