Ukrainians affectionately call the military of the Armed Forces of Ukraine “our kitties”, they are noble defenders in the fight for peace and freedom. Many of them live with furry cats, even at the front.

A defender with a cat is a sculptural toy made in an author's technique using a mixture of paper, sawdust, water, buckwheat husks and glue.

Each figurine is hand-molded, baked, polished and painted with acrylic paints like vintage decorations. Small elements are carefully molded from cotton wool and decorated with fabric applications, just like a hundred years ago.

The toy is durable and resistant to mechanical damage. It is safe for children and animals. Ecological and long-lasting.
