Icon “Intercession of the Theotokos” with silver
The icon of the Intercession of the Theotokos is a symbol of patronage and protection from all evil. The Virgin Mary prays not only for each person, but also for nations and even countries.
The icon depicts the Mother of God covering the entire human race with her veil, protecting and guarding it from dangers and temptations. Our Lady is also honored as the patroness of warriors, she helps in difficult life circumstances.
