“Our Lady of the Seven Sorrows (Arrows)” icon in a wooden rounded frame
The icon of Our Lady of Seven Sorrows (Arrows) is one of the most prominent images of the Mother of God in Orthodoxy. This icon helps soften hearts, reconcile enemies, and ease suffering.
The image of the Virgin Mary is sorrowful; she is depicted in pain for her son crucified on the cross. Her heart is pierced by seven arrows of sorrow. She feels everyone's pain and is ready to bring comfort and reassurance to those who come to her.
Handcrafted by master jewelers, this is not just an icon, but a valuable item that can be passed down from generation to generation, seeking help in difficult times. The painstaking work of specialists has resulted in a rich, exquisite icon made of copper, partly gilded and partly silver-plated, decorated with delicate patterns of Italian jewelry enamel, as well as inlays matching the enamel.
The overall image is completed by an unusual elegant frame made of natural wood with rounded corners. Such a thing deserves a special place in the home and heart.
